Rising Star Program
About The Rising Star Program
The Rising Star Program honors youth organizations or individuals 18 years of age or younger whose contributions to the CalvertHealth Foundation work to make a difference in our community. If there is a cause or project which you would like to support, we would like to help you bring your passion to life through a gift to CalvertHealth Foundation.
Here’s How YOU Can Become a Rising Star
Each year the Foundation is looking for those who will run for a cause in the 5K Family Fun Run/Walk held in October on beautiful Solomons Island in support of cancer care. All proceeds from the event go toward the Sheldon E. Goldberg Center for Breast Care. Or, throughout the year, the Foundation is looking for volunteers for one of its events or to distribute materials. Young leaders like you can make a monetary donation in support of CalvertHealth Foundation’s fundraising efforts. There are numerous areas where funds are appreciated and needed. Perhaps your club or organization has a mission about which you feel passionate – many students rally together to battle breast cancer in support of The Sheldon E. Goldberg Center for Breast Care. Other students are excited about the current expansion project taking place at CalvertHealth and have contributed to our capital campaign to help build this important new addition.
