Rising Star Program

About The Rising Star Program

The Rising Star Program honors youth organizations or individuals 18 years of age or younger whose contributions to the CalvertHealth Foundation work to make a difference in our community. If there is a cause or project which you would like to support, we would like to help you bring your passion to life through a gift to CalvertHealth Foundation.

Here’s How YOU Can Become a Rising Star

What is your healthcare passion? As a young philanthropist, you have many options for impacting the care provided at your local community hospital, CalvertHealth Medical Center.

Perhaps you’d like to form a team to run in our annual Breast Cancer 5K, or host a fundraiser to provide a contribution to the Sheldon E. Goldberg Center for Breast Care. Perhaps your club or organization has a mission about which you feel passionate – many students rally together to battle breast cancer in support of The Sheldon E. Goldberg Center for Breast Care.

Would you like to volunteer to help with a foundation event or activity such as delivery carnations on Doctors’ Day or operating a water station at our Breast Cancer 5K.

Young leaders like you make monetary donations in support of any of CalvertHealth Foundation’s fundraising priorities, such as cancer care, behavioral health, surgical services, The Fund for CalvertHealth, or an area that holds personal significance to you or your family. Numerous areas need support, and all gifts are greatly appreciated.
