Cancer Care – Your support of Cancer Care enables us to keep expert care conveniently located and easily accessible locally in Calvert County as we bring advancements in clinical care to our oncology patients. Gifts to Cancer Care help to purchase state-of-the-art equipment, open doors to research and clinical trials, bring world-renowned resources to our talented team of oncologists and medical professionals, grow the Cancer Care Endowment for a perpetual source of philanthropic support, and provide free navigation services to our cancer patients throughout their screening, treatment and survivorship.
Sheldon E. Goldberg Center for Breast Care - Your support of the Sheldon E. Goldberg Center for Breast Care helps fund access to expert, local, easily accessible comprehensive breast health care including screening, treatment, navigation, and survivorship services. With high incidences of breast cancer in our region, access to expert care is more critical than ever.
Behavioral Health - Through a partnership with Sheppard Pratt, CalvertHealth provides expanded behavioral health services to the community and is the only hospital in Southern Maryland that offers inpatient and outpatient mental health services for adolescents, aged 13 to 17. Your gifts support vital mental health programs and capital improvements enabling CalvertHealth to serve a diverse range of inpatient and outpatient health needs that is conveniently located in Calvert County.
Surgical Services - CalvertHealth Medical Center provides a robust array of surgical procedures across a wide variety of surgical specialties from complex breast cancer procedures to the latest minimally invasive options for vascular issues. Gifts designated toward surgical services enhance services, resources and specialized surgical equipment used throughout the medical center’s many clinical specialties.
Helen Marsellas Pathways to Nursing Education Fund - The Helen P. Marsellas Pathways to Nursing Education Fund supports current employees of CalvertHealth along their educational pursuit of becoming a nurse and obtaining their associate degree in nursing (ADN). By offsetting the costs associated with further education, the fund ensures that future nurses can continue to grow in their careers and provide the highest standard of care to our community.
